The pink is warmer in person than the photos show, almost like a sunset trapped in the stone. I've worn it daily for two weeks and the demi-fine band hasn't dulled or left any green marks on my finger.

The banding on my rhodochrosite is completely different from the stock photo, and I actually prefer it — that swirl of deep pink through the pale stone catches light every time I move my hand. The stone sits low enough that it doesn't snag on sweaters.
